Workshop Planning and Layout

1. Receptionist & Preinspection:
Space for receive clients, together with auto parts & accessories demonstration spec sheets, promotion materials on or beside the reception desk.This space will be divided ino some functions:
a） Reception：
Registration, preinspection, should have enough space for car driving.This space is for clients visiting, but should not allowed clients enter into workshop easily：There should are interlink rooms between reception and workshop to handle documentation(inspection papers, clients’database and invoices) and coffee break room for clients.
b）Coffe Break Room :
The space for clients’ take a rest during waiting for after-sale service on their cars, the sapce provide internet, TV, newspapers, magazines, coffee, and even snacks,etc. There should be a big glass wall beteen this room and workshop for clients tomonitor the process. Moreover, in the cornor of the room, we can put promtion materials, such as catalogues, accessories for cars, small gifts, souvenirs for cliets to purchase or inquiry
2，Part warehouse：
This space is for storage of auto parts, which can be minimum quantity for repair demands, or even clients can buy from the list of parts and accessories list directly. Some optional parts, such as alloy rims, special tyre, car beauty stuff canbeputona shelf near Coffee break room, or warehouse. There should be warehouse office nearby the warehouse, to make sure a good control on stock calculation, and filing when in and out.
3. Repair Space：
To fulfill repair, inspection, maitenance on cars, the space should be divided into some independent spaces by functions. All tools and cabinet, pipes, should be well organized to let the space looked clean and well managed. The lightness, and air flow system should be under control to make sure enoughtlightness, and good air quality in the garage. If there is not enoght floor space, we can design a lifting bridge to use second floor as a extandable workshop.
4.Management Offices space：
Administration space should be divided as an independent area, which should not let clients and staffs can see directly from the other spaces, also meeting rooms, training rooms financial rooms. If there is second floor, these rooms will be better set up in the second floor.。 We own an automotive's in-house design team who use Autocad software to produce detailed workshop layout drawings as a complimentary service for our clients. We offer "real world" advice and aim to maximize your valuable workshop space and minimize building costs. We can liaise with your architects, builders and planners to produce an effective workshop layout solution.
